S-1
Personnel
S-1 is the regiments principal staff officer for all personnel maters, including planning and supervision of matters of procurement, classification, assignment, pay, promotion, transfer, retirement and discharge, decorations, citations, honors, awards, religious, recreational, welfare, postal service, morale, stragglers, and collection and disposition of POWs
S-2
Intelligence
S-2 is the regiment’s principal staff officer for all matters dealing with military intelligence, including collection, evaluation, interpretation, and distribution of information about the enemy.
S-3
Operations & Training
S-3 is the regiment’s principal staff officer for all matters dealing with operations and training, including organization, training, and combat operations.
S-4
Logistics, Supply, Communications
S-4 is the regiment’s principal staff officer for all matters dealing with logistics, including supply support.
S-5
