Message Center

I have been assigned to the message center. Here I will learn the International Morse Code, cryptography, the operation of the telephones, switchboards, and radios, and the use of pigeons and visual signaling. In addition, I will learn the procedure and operation of the message center and the command post, of which it is a part.

When I have become proficient in my specialty, I will receive an assignment to the message center of the communications platoon of a unit in the field forces.
