The M-1938 Legging - An Introduction

Some were produced completely in OD #7, rather than khaki:


This pair was issued, as well as countless more.

 


Notice the contract date of 10-27-43. Curiously enough, these leggings have the nomenclature changed to "Leggings, Canvas, Dismounted, M-1938, OD". Aside from color, there are no further changes made to the pattern or markings.
